This is the dark chocolate glaze I originally used for the pumpkin swirl cake.
I have added the peppermint version to other recipes like these brownies, and it is so good.
Pour the glaze over something tasty, then enjoy it right away or chill in the fridge until it has hardened.
You can use either vanilla or peppermint extract.
Dark Chocolate Glaze
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate bar broken up into pieces, or chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla (OR 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract)
- Combine ingredients and heat over very low heat.
- Keep stirring until melted.
- Drizzle freely.
